The Tampines Changkat Youth Executive Committee (YEC) is part of the People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM). PAYM is one of Singapore's largest youth organisations. The Tampines Changkat YEC is based at the Tampines Changkat Community Centre. The YEC comprises of a committee of 15 - 20 youth members. The YEC's main roles are to formulate programmes for the youths and set up sub-committees to implement its activities, and to work closely with other grassroots organisations in implementing community development projects in the constituency. The YEC aims to promote social cohesiveness, national consciousness and patriotism among the youths. They also organise various activities to foster leadership qualities among youths and at the same time, promote friendship at national and international levels.
