 Dear
Residents,
During my walkabouts, I met many of
you with ideas on how to improve life in this community
and in the country. You also shared with me your concerns
and aspirations for the future.
I understand your desire to be consulted on issues, both
local and national, and to be involved in shaping this
place we call home.
You will be part of a circle of residents who will be
invited to meet me periodically for dialogues on issues
of interest and concerns, or just for a chat.
At the same time, I will be tapping you for ideas to
involve you in undertaking projects to build up our
community and our nation. We will accomplish goals together.
I believe that this "MP Direct" programme
can help us become a stronger community - one in which
residents develop close-knit relationships, help each
other live a useful and meaningful life, and use their
skills, talents and time to make an impact on the lives
of other people in our community and country.
